GENERAL POLICIES

Following Terms should be read in conjunction with our Conditions of Sales (located on page(s) 3-4 of the Application for Credit Form) which apply to all orders unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Service Levels:

Where orders are placed prior to 2pm, EDL aims to despatch orders same day. Where this is not possible, due to increased demand for service, goods shall be despatched as soon as possible.

EDL is committed to ensuring that all customer orders showing all stocked items are sent within 48 hours.

Due to service demand fluctuation throughout the year, it is not possible to guarantee standard despatch within these timeframes.

A request for expedited despatch may be made to an EDL representative and a fee may be chargeable (see Fee Table below).

Non-Stocked Items:

Where items are not stocked, EDL shall endeavour to advise customers at the earliest opportunity.

Items that can be sourced locally, are estimated to be despatched within 2-5 days. Items required from our international network may take longer. A price variance may apply.

Once an order is placed for non-stocked or specially requested items, all orders are final and non-returnable. Once ordered, items may not be cancelled without written agreement.

Delivery:

EDL will endeavour to meet any stated delivery date/time. However, orders are not eligible to be returned in the event of delayed or non-delivery. Delivery to the freight carrier constitutes completion of the order.

Standard delivery times vary based on the size of the order and the destination from distribution centre. Changes to standard delivery (including Overnight / Rural etc) may be made to an EDL representative and a fee may be charged (see Fee Table below).

Variations to standard delivery costs may only apply when minimum order levels or sufficient notice is provided, which may vary depending on the agreement, are reached. Such agreements are deemed only to apply to your main business premises and charges may apply to other sites or third-parties.

Urgent Deliveries:

EDL will endeavour to meet any stated delivery date/time. However, orders are not eligible to be returned in the event of delayed, signature refused or non-delivery. Delivery to the freight carrier constitutes completion of the order.

Items returned due to sender may be subject to restock fee and freight charges.

Requests for rush / urgent courier services including 1 Hour, 2 Hour and 3 Hour service are subject to despatch times within our distribution centre(s).

A request for expedited despatch may be made to an EDL representative and a fee may be chargeable (see Fee Table below) in addition to courier freight costs.

Collections:

During busy times, and depending on the size of the order, collection times may vary. Please allow at least 120 minutes for a collect order to be available.

To avoid delays at pickup, please forward your orders in advance to customer.care@edlfast.co.nz or call 0800 304 316 with your pickup times and date and any contact details that may be required to contact for clarification.

Freight Charges / Consolidated Orders:

To reduce freight charged on your order. Orders may be consolidated to one single delivery which may alter the despatch date.

Where items are showing in stock at time of ordering, yet are not available upon checking stock inventory, these goods shall be sent when in stock at EDL’s cost. Notwithstanding, EDL reserve the right to ship items when they become available at our cost.

Goods Returned for Credit:

EDL is not obliged to accept the return of any goods for credit.

Requests for goods to be returned for credit may be considered only if received in writing within 7 days of the delivery of the goods and quoting the invoice number, and if the goods are in the same condition as despatched.

EDL may grant or refuse any such requests at its sole discretion. Where goods are accepted for credit, a restocking fee may apply.

Prices:

Appropriate pricing for has been assigned to each account using discount structures applied to the EDL List Price and/or Agreed Pricing.

Reduced and discounted pricing may apply only when pack sizes are ordered, only.

Where quotations have been offered that differ from this pricing, the quotation number must be quoted at time of ordering or pricing may not be honoured. Quotations are valid only until the date specified in writing: usually 30 days. .

EDL may alter prices without notice and the purchase price of goods may differ from that stated on a supplied purchase order. However, EDL shall endeavour to advise customers where possible.

Minimum Order Value and Order Quantities:

EDL may apply Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) and Minimum Order Value (MOV) at its sole discretion. These may vary between product lines.

As at 1 October 2017, the Minimum Order Value is $20 + GST (excluding Freight) for stocked items. Differing MOVs may apply for non-stocked or international items.

A request delivery of items under the Minimum Order Quantity or MOV may be made to an EDL representative and a fee may be chargeable (see Fee Table below).
